For entries collected at RE/MAX Alliance event booths.
Last updated August 2026.
The short version. We collect your name, mobile number,
email, and optionally your neighborhood or ZIP. We use it to run the
drawing and to tell you who won. If you checked the consent box, we
also pass your information to one RE/MAX Alliance real estate agent, who
may call, text, or email you. If you did not check the box, we do
not market to you. You can ask to be removed at any time and we will
remove you.
Who this covers
This policy covers information collected through the RE/MAX Alliance event
entry form — the QR code and tablet at our booths. RE/MAX Alliance, 7425
Grandview Avenue, Arvada, CO 80002, is responsible for that information.
What we collect
Your first name and last name
Your mobile phone number
Your email address
Your neighborhood or ZIP code, if you choose to give it
Which of the optional interest boxes you checked
Whether you agreed to be contacted, the exact wording of the agreement
you saw, and the date and time you agreed
Technical details attached to your submission: the date and time, your
IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. We keep these so we can
tell a real entry from an automated one and so the consent record is
complete.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, financial
account information, or date of birth.
Why we collect it
To run the drawing, pick a winner, and notify the winner
To send every entrant one announcement of who won
If, and only if, you checked the consent box: to have a RE/MAX Alliance
agent contact you about real estate
To understand, in aggregate, whether these events are worth running
Who we share it with
Entries are assigned by hand to a single RE/MAX Alliance affiliated real
estate agent, who receives your entry and no one else's. Multiple RE/MAX
Alliance offices participate in these events; the agent who receives your
information may be at any of them.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with
anyone outside RE/MAX Alliance and its affiliated agents, except for
the service providers that host the form and store the list (Cloudflare and
Google), and except where the law requires it.
If you did not check the consent box, your entry is not passed to an agent
for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
The master list: three years from the date of the
event, after which entries are archived or deleted.
The copy shared with your assigned agent: 90 days of
access to the shared file, after which access is revoked. If that agent
imported your information into their own client database, it is then
governed by their own retention practices, and you can ask them directly
to remove it.
Opt-out records: kept indefinitely, because that is
the only way to make sure a removal request stays honoured.
How to be removed
Reply STOP to any text message, or email us at the
address below and say you want to be removed. We add you to a suppression
list that is checked before every distribution, so you are not passed to an
agent again. Removal requests are handled within ten business days.
If an agent has already received your information, tell us and we will
tell them, but you may also want to ask that agent directly, since their own
database is theirs to manage.
If we change this policy, the updated version is posted here with a new
date. Changes do not apply retroactively to information already collected
under an earlier version — the wording you agreed to is recorded with your
entry.
